As Technical Program Manager, embedded robot software, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers responsible for core applications on embedded devices. This role reports into Program Management Office. In this position you will act as a core team member of an integrated product team, led by Program Manager. You will partner with other core team members (Lead ME, EE, Product Management, Operations). You will be accountable for end to end embedded software delivery to the program, up to and including software support for manufacturing line IP critical fixtures. A successful candidate will have an established background with strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills and people leadership skills, and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
The Technical Program Manager - embedded robot software will provide technical leadership and management for software developers and software quality teams. Your responsibility will be to design, deliver and execute a software release schedule for the new product (concept through production), which will be centered on addressing major project risks early on. You will be responsible for collaborating with the other core team members for coupling this software release schedule with hardware integration points, with the goal of achieving and validating product functionality as early as possible. You will be responsible for leading software team which will be assigned to you from software organization. In addition, you and your peers will ensure the software organization has great transparency to what needs to be delivered to any program at any time. This hands-on position requires broad engineering competence, strong system thinking and in-depth technical knowledge of software development, as well as demonstrated experience successfully planning, organizing and conducting software development projects in a dynamic environment.

The leader we are looking for will have a very strong technical software background and well developed critical thinking. This leader will have a demonstrable past track record of success in leading software development product teams, through well thought out and transparent software delivery plan.
