The iRobot marketing team is seeking a Consumer and Market Insights Analyst who is passionate about uncovering the “why” behind consumer decisions and marketplace dynamics through data mining, analytics, hypothesis testing and customer research.
The Consumer and Market Insights Analyst will manage primary and secondary research data sets. They will be comfortable synthesizing relevant data sets including primary and secondary research, third party data, transactional data, and voice of the consumer data to develop a deep understanding of consumers, and the drivers that influence business objectives for the iRobot home business unit.

iRobot is seeking a Demand/Supply Platform Manger to join our Global Operations team. This position will work with Global Operations in a strategic and tactical role to deliver both Functional and Technical solutions for our demand and supply planning application. The Demand/Supply Planning Platform Manager will work collaboratively with the business and with IT, recommend solutions aligned with business goals and company objectives. The Demand/Supply Planning Platform Manager will be responsible for documenting business requirements, assisting to develop system solutions and validating system designs through rigorous testing of solutions. The Demand/Supply Planning Platform Manager will create work instructions for business processes and will deliver training to functional users of the systems. As a system administrator for the application, the Platform manager will also be responsible for documenting standard protocols for maintaining the systems.

Travel is needed to the various regional company offices to help build collaboration and support for the latest processes and tools.

The Engineer/Manager, Mfg Quality – Far East is a member of the FE Quality team and the extended Global Quality team, the role of which is to implement a unified approach to managing Quality in FE Manufacturing with the intent to deliver high quality products and services that meet the specifications and high standards of iRobot. The primary focus of this role is to monitor and constantly reduce manufacturing variation, to prevent manufacturing processes from producing defects and to ensure effective manufacturing detection methods are in place to prevent escapes by driving improvements in manufacturing methods and processes; and effecting improvements in product design. He/She represents the voice of the customer and is a continuous quality improvement force within the organization through effective cross collaboration and interactions within the broader FE Operations, Quality and Supply Chain team and with Engineering and the Business functions in Bedford. S/He is a champion of Quality to both internal and external customers to help drive excellence across assigned products / CM’s and align with the overall company Quality organization and implement industry best practices.
The Engineer/Manager, Mfg Quality – Far East is responsible for the 3 key areas of quality relating to FE manufacturing for his/her area of assigned responsibility:
- Quality Control - the set of inspection and testing regime applied to ensure that the product (being) produced is to specifications; and the necessary actions taken correct nonconformances when they are detected.
- Quality Assurance - the set of processes and procedures designed to systematically assure requirements are met and prevent nonconformances from occurring.
- Quality Improvement - formal approach to the analysis of product, process and system performance and the systematic methods, tools and techniques to improve them

Senior Accountant will support the manager to lead the accounting and financial reporting activities of Japan office and will report to the iRobot Japan Accounting Manager.
iRobot is in search of a Senior Costing Manager. The Senior Costing Manager is responsible for managing Cost of Goods (COGS) from component through Finished Goods level by negotiating with the Contract Manufacturing. This will include analysis at a component and system level with consideration for supply chain and in collaboration with the design engineering team. This position will also lead and develop opportunities for improved cost visibility in the early phases of the product life cycle, ensure that Contract Manufacturers provide us the competitive costs and reliable supply chain to meet iRobot’s volume, cost and quality requirements.
In this role you will manage Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and a portfolio of commodities to optimize the supply base and deliver financial benefit from supply chain improvements and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with engineering on costing for the new product developments. You will also work with CMs for continuous cost reduction opportunities for the on-going products.
This is an exciting, dynamic role in which you will work across all the departments in iRobot and be looked to as an expert to assess design to cost efforts and recommend approaches to achieve cost targets.
An ideal candidate will have a technical and/or business degree, and experience in Operations cost and financial analysis. Strong business acumen is a must as you will be expected to establish a COGS roadmap that is in alignment with the Business goals.
