    Essential Functions/ Job Duties

    KA Channel Management

    • Initiate relationship with KA and be responsible for contract negotiations around margin terms, counter location, trade marketing etc.
    • Develop KA channel sales plan along with Sud-D network, including but not limited to
    • Identifying suitable POS to entire under retailers’ portfolio
    • Optimizing product mix for overall channel & at specific POS
    • Develop in-store promotional plan (e.g. promotional counter / exhibition plan throughout the year for enhancing products’ demo experience)
    • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales managers & Field Sales on Sales Management:
    • Monitor POS performance (e.g. track brand standard execution)
    • Gather market intelligence (e.g. consumer demand trend / competitors’ promotion strategy)
    • Develop tactical response to competitors’ offline strategy & activities (e.g. promotion campaigns, interior design layout, etc.)

    Distributor and sub-d Management

    • Familiar with different Key account distribution modes, has the capability of building up suitable distribution mode to meet growth targets
    • Develop & maintain relationship with distributors and sub-dealers
    • Collaborate with Training team to develop training plan for KA sales reps
    • Develop sub-d network to support POS coverage plan
    • Regularly evaluate distributor margin structure, brand support & incentive scheme; explore adjustment opportunities with Sales Director on a regular basis


    Key Capabilities

    • Understand home appliance KA channel sales operations
    • Experience in developing a small-to-mid sized premium foreign brand to scale highly preferred
    • Must have over 5~8 years of experience in HH appliance or other premium categories brand business management in key account retailers
    • Strong channel negotiation & communication capability
    • Channel management experience with Sam’s Club, Suning or Sundan, Sam’s Club is preferred
    • Rich experience in renegotiating margin structure and incentive schemes with Retailers & Sub-Ds preferred
    • Successful track record in soliciting KA’s resources in developing brand presence and joint promotional strategies is an advantage
    • Sharp sense of the market, capable of quickly picking up and modelling after industry best practice and competitors’ initiatives as appropriate
