  • Summary

    We're looking for a Senior National Product Sales Manager to be the voice of the Americas’ consumer in our product roadmap. Reporting to the VP of Sales, Americas, you will partner with Global Product Marketing and America Sales teams, to develop the Canadian, US and Latin American product road maps, including recommending and optimizing product strategies based on channels, ensuring strategies meet account and corporate financial metrics and closely working with cross-functional teams to launch products.

    Essential Functions/ Job Duties

    To be the ideal candidate, you should have 7-10+ years experience in consumer goods, working directly with national retailers and distributors. You have a proven ability to create comprehensive channel strategies, and are skilled in analyzing and predicting competitive landscapes and consumer needs. You will also be adept at identifying critical consumer insights through analyzing reviews, consumer feedback and delighting or dissatisfying attribute trends. You should also have experience directly with product launches, go-to-market planning, P&L management and MDF utilization is required.

    • Own the strategy and go-to-market readiness for the Americas’ floor care product road map
    • Leveraging the Global Product road map, identify, develop and launch regional specific SKUs that are consistent with the needs of the Americas’ business
    • Coordinate and manage the launch process and needs with the Global Product Management team to ensure all requirements, objectives and timelines are met
    • Lead product P&L management for region while partnering with Sales and Finance to ensure overall accounts and regional P&L optimization
    • Work with cross functional teams to manage the launch calendar, ensuring product supply and first ship dates are upheld. Lead product set up processes for retailers
    • Maintain support throughout product life, developing and communication transition strategies and managing discontinuance notices for region
    • Manage costs associated with launches and transitions utilizing MDF
    • Create sell-in presentations, collateral and work with Sales to secure placement of products by retailers
    • Partner with Channel Marketing in identifying technical asset and messaging requirements by product. Work with Product Marketing to ensure needs are met
    • Be the technical product and subject matter expert for industry and competition in the Americas

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience working in consumer product sales within the Americas,  preferably experience working with multiple channels of distribution: club, mass, online
    • Prior experience launching product and managing product life cycles
    • Exceptional communications skills with proven ability to influence and foster strong relationships. Exceptional presentation skills.
    • Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
    • Demonstrated ability of analyzing data and disseminating insights
    • Travel Required: 20 - 40% within region
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products - particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
    • Bachelors Degree required
