  • Summary

    We are seeking a Global Marketing and Communications Manager at iRobot.  This candidate will work within the Global Marketing and Communications team and closely with product marketing and digital marketing teams.  The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in agency and/or similar client roles. The ability to manage multiple agency relationships and a thorough understanding of media and the analytics associated is needed.  Experience building creative platforms for 360 campaigns needed. This person should have the ability to work cross functionally with various teams to bring sophisticated consumer products to market.  This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Marketing and Communications.

    Essential Functions/ Job Duties

    • Support the development and execution of all global media activations. Experience and detailed understanding of processes involved in media planning in core channels (offline/online), with an emphasis on TV.
    • Understanding and development of media analysis for core global markets. To include working with agencies to develop bi-annual plans and implementing results.
    • Understanding of MMA analysis; ability to influence and optimize based on understanding
    • Ability to manage creative agency to deliver strategy, development and execution of global digital media assets. Understanding of cultural nuances and ability to optimize. 
    • Experience participating in, and leading in some cases, photoshoots for photo and video to support core creative campaigns
    • Experience managing the development of commercial TV creative, from development of timelines to participation in shoot, to deployment of assets
    • Ability to leverage consumer insights to influence creative campaigns, globally
    • Ability to navigate internal processes and partner with product marketing, digital marketing, consumer insights and other departments as needed
    • Experience working cross-functionally as part of consumer product go-to-market team

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5-7 yrs working in a similar client role, supporting consumer products
    • Minimum of 2-4 yrs experience in the development and execution of global media plans. Understanding of all media channels required (offline/online)
    • Understanding of media analytics and implementation of results across multiple tactics required
    • Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
    • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence and foster strong relationships with many audiences.
    • Must be comfortable presenting to audiences big or small
