  • Summary

    We are seeking a Trade Marketing Manager for our France office. 

     

    GOAL:

    • Drive sales thru by designing and executing activities which will increase conversion and enable trade up in store for the French Market (‘brick’ & ‘click’: Darty, Boulanger, Ubaldi, But, Conforama, Carrefour, Auchan, various Buying Groups, …).
    • Maximize campaigns effectiveness by optimizing promotion plans and synchronizing ATL & BTL.
    • Enhance brand appeal by increasing the scale and quality of the merchandizing footprint
    • Implement Training program for retailers and sales in store personnel

    KPIs

    • Sales thru growth
    • ROI improvement for in store marketing & trade activities

    • Trade Marketing Manager “clicks”, Marketing Director
    • London based regional marketing group: ATL & Digital campaign managers - Search optimization manager – Trade shopper manager
    • Retail Clients - Sales Director, Key Account Managers, Sales representatives

    Essential Functions/ Job Duties

    • Be champion of France shopper experience, work closely in collaboration with regional marketing team to increase conversion rate & sell thru;
    • Consumer driven promotions set up
    • Define & execute Key Account Trade marketing plans in coordination with sales with a clear focus on Premium high margins activities.
    • Localize merchandising strategy. Coordinate execution of merchandizing solutions. Do audit of own installations and benchmarking vs competition.
    • Drive category management agenda to ensure iRobot presentation in store is line / ahead of our segment share.
    • As expert of France retail landscape and shopper, contribute to marketing mix strategy.
    • Develop and execute channelization
    • Contribute to annual marketing plans and activation or product launch campaigns, drive promo activation plans.
    • Develop sales pitches for new listing & pitches for brand activations to ensure strong promo plans activities, listings and primary and secondary placements.
    • Develop, deploy and maintain high level of training (internal sales force, retail sales floor executives).
    • Own (track, report, optimize) in store activities ROI.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge of French “bricks & clicks retail landscape.
    • Marketing technics, good understanding of what makes shopper ‘tick’.
    • Understanding of in store communications and retail executions limitations and opportunities.
    • Bachelor’s degree. Consumer marketing specialization.
    • Fluent English is a must, command of other European languages is a plus.

    • Puts the consumer at the beginning of any projects.
    • Can lead progressively without ‘direct reporting line’. Entrepreneurial spirit, not afraid to do things.
    • Ability to make things happen. Attention to details. Good with data.
    • Ability to see big picture while having ‘hands on’ attitude.
    • ‘We win as a team’ attitude.
