  • Summary

    iRobot is seeking an energetic, results-oriented Onsite Warehouse Logistics Supervisor.  This person will be responsible for assisting in onsite, day-to-day operations at our North America 3PL warehouses and their associated functions of Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Control to drive operational efficiencies and facilitate clear communication between the warehouse and home office. This person will ideally be based in the Seattle, WA area and will be comfortable traveling between our 3PL locations and our Bedford, MA headquarters.

    Essential Functions/ Job Duties

    • Collaborate with 3PL to achieve process improvement efficiencies that deliver the best customer service levels while focused on cost containment.
    • Optimize warehouse footprint and storage utilization.
    • Collaborate with freight carriers and freight brokers when needed to drive improved performance.
    • Establish operational performance metrics to report effectiveness and to gauge opportunities for improvement.
    • Support the inventory control program by conducting periodic audits and assisting with ad-hoc inventory clean up initiatives.
    • Serve as the onsite “eyes and ears” of the company, ensuring all policies are being implemented and communication is transparent.
    • Project manage various onsite projects including product reworks, display builds and customer inspections ensuring they are completed on time and to the required specifications.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Five years of hands-on warehouse and logistics management experience, ideally overseeing a 3PL location.
    • Ability to work with warehouse associates and cross-function iRobot team members.
    • A self-starter mentality with a high energy approach.
    • Familiarity with consumer products and large retailer portals.
    • ERP system savvy.
    • Proficiency in MS Office. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel: VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to prioritize workloads and work in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment.
    • Dangerous goods or Hazmat certification or training preferred.
    • Travel up to 40%.
