  • Summary

    This is an opportunity for a driven, motivated individual with the ability of setting short and long-term direct online sales strategies. Working closely with the Japan Sales group, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, you will manage the day-to-day performance of the Direct Sales channel, including achieving sales and profit goals, managing online sales programs/tools to attract and convert consumers and owning vendor relationships. This position requires the ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment, and a strong ability to generate strategies that grow direct online sales and brand’s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth.

    Essential Functions/ Job Duties

    • Set e-commerce position and value within overall Japan’s channels of sale.
    • Develop and execute a sales plan, including 3 month rolling forecast and annual promotional schedule.
    • Manage and grow the iRobot sales channel on third marketplaces like Yahoo and Rakuten.
    • Lead strategic vendor relationships, proactively sharing insights and learnings across internal and external partners to accelerate growth.
    • Perform and communicate weekly, monthly and quarterly measurement of KPIs.
    • Analyze trends to improve the range and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Perform regular budgeting and invoice reconciliation for promotional activities.
    • Serve as organizational direct business expert and assume responsibility for additional direct sales needs, if identified.

    Qualifications

    • 5-10 years experiences in digital, e-commerce or agency environment. Global experience is a plus.
    • Demonstrated success operating key functions of an eCommerce operation: merchandising, forecasting, traffic measurement.
    • Abilities to work under tight deadlines and managing/working with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
