Summary

We are seeking a Sales Operations Analyst.  In this position, you will be responsible for: (a) supporting the sales, operations and logistic teams in servicing iRobot’s retail customers (b) timely purchase order and return processing (c) sales order shipment planning and backorder management      

Essential Functions/ Job Duties

  • Manage the flow of inventory through purchase orders to the customer by collaboratively planning with the sales and logistics teams.
  • Participate in weekly sales status calls with sales management
  • Be a subject matter expert in Oracle, EDI  
  • Act as a key contact with retailers
  • Manage retail store and warehouse backorders and help to implement recovery plans if necessary.
  • Work with the iRobot operations/logistics team and retail customers to track orders and shipment status to ensure on time delivery. Act as a liaison between sales, distribution and the customer.
  • Prepare monthly reports to track gross sales shipments.
  • Assist in management of customer portals for product set up, dispute resolution and inventory management
  • Assist in timely research and follow-up through resolution of unauthorized customer deductions.
  • Assist sales managers in product set-up with key customers.
  • Assist in the resolution of end user product inquiries and issues.
  • Assist the identification and tracking of unauthorized third party sales
  • Compliance support through purchase and tracking of potential transshipped product.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years professional work experience in in sales, supply chain, customer service or an analytical discipline.
  • BS degree in Business or related field
  • Self-motivated
  • Solid understanding of consumers, consumer electronics, and technology.
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation/facilitation skills
  • Experience with retail and direct sales channels is a plus.
  • Proficient with excel
  • Strong Oracle background
  • 5% (or less) domestic travel required.
