We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Data Analyst to contribute to and coordinate a corporate-wide data governance project. An opportunity to learn cutting edge technologies and to work with smartest people at the same time!

 

Internship will start as soon as a suitable candidate is identified and last for six  months.

Essential Functions/ Job Duties

  • Work with iRobot staff and outside advisors on the creation and/or updating, implementation, communication, and ongoing support of data standards, policies and processes.
  • Work with outside advisors to ensure data governance policies and processes supports the changing world of national and foreign data governance regulations.
  • Work and collaborate with project team/s of diverse talents (Software Engineering teams, Product IT & Infrastructure teams) on the analysis and documentation of the classifications of data used across iRobot business units.
  • Document end-to-end data flows across diverse systems.
  • Coordinate activities between the data governance team, outside advisors, and business unit representations during the project.
  • Record and track key project monitoring and tracking metrics.
  • Meet regularly with PMO to discuss workload, communicate project issues and address individual development.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with multiple stake holders.
  • Experience dealing with multiple teams and have a business centric approach.
  • Comfortable operating in a technologically dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge and comfort in using all applications included in the Microsoft Office Product Suite.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small company environment.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
  • Interest in the concerns and topics related to data governance.
