iRobot is seeking a Sales Manager for its online sales channel.  The Sales Manager will be an expert in digital sales on both retail and marketplace platforms and have a proven track record of positioning premium brands across various digital vehicles in a highly competitive landscape.  This individual will be responsible for driving revenue/profitability goals with key online retailers in the United States while working closely with the channel marketing team to initiate, execute and optimize national digital merchandising and marketing strategies.  Requirements include direct experience in managing and as well as possess extensive knowledge of levers, actions or investments that drive search relevancy online and create brand and product level awareness.  In addition, this person will have comprehensive knowledge of how to navigate through Vendor Central, Seller Central and Retail Link and be adept at leading through influence, collaborating cross-functionally, and play an integral part in creating a digital-savvy account management culture. The Sales Manager will drive near-term results while also developing a long-term vision for IROBOT’s digital sales channel.


Essential Functions/ Job Duties

  • Manage the revenue, profit, sell-through and inventory of the sales territory
  • Reach quantitative and qualitative targets while managing to budgets
  • Plan and execute new product launches, initiatives and promotions
  • Present regular business reviews and new product launches to accounts
  • Forecast and manage product requirements in close collaboration with Sales Operations and Channel Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate efficiently and effectively with internal teams to achieve goals and initiatives
  • Identify growth opportunities by discovering unique ways of creating awareness and reaching target consumers
  • Partner with Channel Marketing to deliver consistent online strategies from assortment, merchandising, marketing and promotions for the channel including authorized marketplace resellers
  • Work with the reseller partners to create market opportunity and analysis plans, including how to better serve specific client and vertical groups
  • Continually analyze and understand competitive environment including new products/technologies, strategies, pricing and merchandising/marketing efforts
  • Provide timely insight to market conditions and competitive placement, pricing, promotional activity and any additional relevant information
  • Partner closely with Channel Marketing team on developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives for the channel


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 – 8 years of relevant work experience in a sales role; preferably a consumer product focused high tech company.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in eCommerce with 5 years experience in online merchandising, commerce and marketing
  • Prior experience managing and/or accounts
  • Deep understanding of online trends and leadership in online activation, engagement and merchandising
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced analytical, simulations and reporting skills.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Travel required.
