We are currently seeking an intern within our Logistics team. The Logistics team handles distribution, transportation, inventory management, customs compliance and reverse logistics for the company globally. In this role you will be exposed to all of these functions as well as have the opportunity to interface with other functions within the Operations department including Supply Planning, Strategic Sourcing & Demand Planning. All of us run at top speeds and even as a lean team, we accomplish a lot but we always have fun! If this sounds exciting to you then we want to hear from you!

 

This internship will start in January and will be for 6 months.

 

Essential Functions/ Job Duties

  • Work with warehouses to ensure timely receipt of product into our systems
  • Work with transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of outbound shipments
  • Assist with monthly Customs Compliance audits
  • Update KPI reports to reflect most current data
  • Assist with researching compliance charges from retail customers to ensure proper penalties are being assessed
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills required; proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong skills with data modeling and analysis
  • At least two - three years of course work toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or a related field
  • Must have attention to detail and be highly organized to handle multiple tasks and priorities and work independently to manage workload and analyze information
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in writing with individuals through all levels of the organization with high levels of integrity, ethics and customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
