We're looking for a principle level, well-rounded person to fill in a role within our Information Security department. You will work with other senior information security staff on developing a holistic approach to handle iRobot data. You will create state of the art data security and compliance solutions and work with business units to ensure their processes maintain our obligations to customers and governing bodies

Essential Functions/ Job Duties

  • Lead data security strategy and technology roadmaps
  • Partners with Product Owners to align the roadmap with the technical design and strategy 
  • Designs and develops data security architecture (frameworks, software/applications, data, information, and technology)
  • Designs and prototypes cloud deployed and DevOps enabled scalable solutions to business problems in alignment with the architecture direction and standards.
  • Oversee and facilitate the evaluation, selection and design of data security fabric
  • Oversee DLP fabric and strategy
  • Define and implement new leading edge strategy and technology for Tokenization and Data Masking/Obfuscation
  • Providing on-going monitoring and reporting of processes related to the data ecosystem
  • Investigate/Implement/Introduce new security technologies to greatly enhance and improve access management across all data platforms within the organization

Qualifications

  • Expertise in securing big data, data lakes and building them from ground up with data
  • Solid knowledge of global data protection and privacy laws
  • Demonstrate excellence while performing in a data security architect role for the past 5 – 10 years
  • Prior experience in securing IT infrastructure, technologies, networking and applications is a plus
  • Should have an excellent management skills, ability to interact with various global business owners is needed
  • Prior experience in customer data protection in the IoT / big data / Smart Home industries is a huge plus
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Security certifications are a plus (CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS, AWS Certified Solutions architect)
  • Security Operations Center, security orchestration and automation experience is a plus
  • Familiarity and interest to do hands-on Proof-of-concept development with Big-Data technologies, specifically in the areas of statistical processing of large volume numeric data, in-memory aggregation and machine learning.  Real-life experience preferred
  • Ability to balance access management & anonymization in data protection is a needed skill
