As our Consolidations Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager, Accounting with exposure to the Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. You will be part of a high-performing team and will be expected to lead, take ownership and responsibility and ensure accurate and timely completion of company reporting requirements. You will have a variety of opportunities to be visible at iRobot.

Essential Functions/ Job Duties

  • Responsible for the global consolidation process including accounting for the impact of foreign exchange rates and elimination of intercompany balances and investment in subsidiaries
  • Assist in the intercompany accounts reconciliation process and research unreconciled balances
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and management reports directly from Oracle ERP and related supporting schedules
  • Assist in the maintenance of the chart of accounts and alignment of use across all regions
  • Perform balance sheet and income statement reviews to ensure divisional and consolidated level financials statements are accurate for SOX purposes and provide meaningful explanations for upper management
  • In-charge of Hong Kong accounting including intercompany transactions and statutory reporting and U.S. intercompany transactions
  • Assist with review of monthly financial reporting package from subsidiaries to ensure compliance with policies and appropriateness of results, including balance sheet reconciliations from local teams
  • Assist with accounting integration for acquisitions, including the mapping their trial balance into our system
  • Manage monthly financial close meetings including monthly and quarterly close calendars
  • Manage and support quarterly and annual corporate requests from internal and external auditors
  • Work with regional finance teams to align accounting policies and procedures globally
  • Critically review current accounting and reporting processes to identify ways to improve and automate
  • Ensure compliance of key accounting controls for Sarbanes Oxley purposes



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MSA and CPA preferred
  • At least 5 years of related experience, mix of public accounting and industry experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP, including ability to research and form own conclusions.
  • Exposure with Oracle consolidations and strong Excel skills. 
  • Experience with multi-national companies and complex consolidations
  • Self-motivated and eagerness to improve everything he/she touches.
  • Ability to work in a team environment across various departments or as an individual contributor as needed.
  • Attention to detail as well as analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Strong desire for continued career progression.
  • Highly effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Willingness to respond to changing business needs of a growing company.
  • The self-confidence to work with senior leaders to support accounting and finance needs.
